This fringin’ sucked! I actually tried to find someone to do this for me, but I didn’t have any luck.
The machining was so rough that I actually needed to start working on them with 150 grit sandpaper! I then went to 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and finally 2000 grit. I then buffed them on a wheel with the brown polishing compound, and then finished with a soft wheel and the white compound. Once that was complete, I hand polished the covers with a rag and soft compound.
Each one felt like it took forever, but no they are done, and the difference is amazing!!
