Brief Description:  Intake Pipes, Oil Breather, Fuel Filter, Fuel/Oil

So how much better does the intake look fully powder coated red?! I think MUCH better. Thanks again to Tommy and Jerry! It looks great, but I’m not sure I can stand pulling it all apart again! Hopefully, this will be it.

I also polished and installed the oil breather on the pilot’s side of the engine. This seems like a simple task, but it was just a bummer every step of the way from the polishing to the adel clamps to the frame.

In the second photo you can also see the installation of the fuel filter. The frame is well designed with tabs welded onto the frame stay in a pattern that allows for a level installation of the filter. The primer port and filter jar also needed to be safety wired prior to installation. The barbed fittings are installed to the filter, then the adel clamps attach to them, and then the frame.

I was also able to install the fuel junction at the top of the firewall which includes the spider from the tanks and the shutoff for the cabin. The fuel hose is attached with adel clamps and the rear panel mounting screws. You can also see the beginning of the oil lines being installed beginning at the breather.
