Brief Description: Headset Jacks

As mentioned above, the jacks needed to be wired to the radio and communication system. I decided to use helicopter headset plugs, vs fixed wing plugs, so there was some additional wiring to figure out. On top of that, I had no idea how the wiring harness was wired from the radio, so I needed to use the internet to understand the connections on the jacks, the radio schematic for the D-sub pin assignments, and I called Safari for a bit of help on what their wiring assumptions were.
At the end of the day, I ended up drawing my own schematic and hopefully figuring out how the jacks should be wired. I think I’m right, but only time will tell, as I need to fire it up to determine if it’s going to work.
You can tell how annoying I am by the way I used matching heat shrink for the different wires.
