Brief Description: REALLY Beginning the Wiring Process
As you can see in the photos below, some of the original labels on the wires in the harness are beginning to come off. Some are actually sticking to other wires and transferring. I decided I’m going to use the Safari wiring harness list and relabel and ring out each wire to make sure I will know where and what they are, as well an confirming that they are all in working order.
The first actual wiring I did was the indicator lights in the instrument pod. I connected the power and ground, and the individual leads and plug connector are next.
Locating, labeling, and ringing out each wire takes FOREVER!!
