Again, getting ready for the next step, and looking at how are of these panels will need to come on and off, I decided I needed to simplify a few earlier panels so it wasn’t such a puzzle getting them on and off of the frame. It should also save a lot of little scratches on the powder coat. I was able to assemble all of the final pieces that you see in the photos below and measure for the seat back panel. I was then able to mount the headboard, which was the first panel I made back in July.
I need to do a significant about of work to the headboard to allow for the seatbelts and additional sizing around the new side panels, but I should be able to tackle some of than in the next few days. I may wait a little longer for the seatbelt cuts so I can work on the actual seats, but we will see.
It’s actually starting to look like a cabin! Feels good to at least look like I'm going forward again.
