The HS34 came without a prewired harness because each installation is different, therefore, I needed to construct a harness for my installation. The HS34 harness requires a 25 pin D-sub female connector that contains wires from the SL-30 nav/com, GPS496, DSAB A & B, power and ground, OAT probe, and audio output. There are a total of 10 wires in this connector some of which connect to the intercom. See the picture below of the intercom wiring schematic which shows which wires go to the HS34. Suffice it to say the hard part was figuring out the schematic.
This day was spent wiring the connector to all the wires except the HS34 audio output and the OAT probe which will be installed in the right wing. Wires from this connector to the DSAB A & B connector were shown on the previous posting.
