Brief Description: Riveting the Left Elevator skeleton
We had a long weekend in CA to visit family Back at it again, I riveted together the elevator skeleton. Had some trouble with getting the squeezer to work. Apparently, if you have the gap set too small the squeezer does not have the power to set the rivet. I recall seeing this discussed somewhere before in the VAF forums. I think it has something to do with where the power is in the stroke of the squeezer. I kept setting the gap smaller thinking that would fix it, but it took opening it way up to get it to work. Hopefully I’ll remember that next time and not spend time trying to figure it out again. No pictures.
