Brief Description: Left Tank wiring and inboard rib
I finaly got a little bit of time to work on the tanks after all of the holiday activities. All the kids are home so I can't pass that up. But back in the shop it was. I vacumed out the right tank and wiped it out with MEK and let it air out outside. I got out the nose re-enforcement brackets and fit those up. The holes ddn't quite line up with the sealant in place, so I had to take a bit off the profile of the angle with the scotchbrite wheel. I then scuffed them both up and cleaned them of with MEK. I mixed up a small batch of sealant got them riveted in.
With the remainder of the sealant, I fillet sealed the end rib, the plate connection and dabbed some on the wiring wrapped around the vent line.
Next effort will be to repeat this on the right tank.
