Brief Description:  Elevator Trim Drive Part 6

This was a little problematic since I had to ensure the tubes were in the proper position, long enough and the belcranks were exactly halfway on the tubes when bolted together. I noodled on this for a bit and decided to slip a thin piece of aluminum sheet in the middle and tighten the bolts. The trim drive tubes went up against the piece of sheet and I was able to check the length. They were long enough, i.e. I didn't put the short tube on the wrong side. The left tube is a little shorter than the right. Once that was done, I drilled one hole for the belcrank, put in a really short AN3 bolt and drilled from the other side. That way if there is a slight misalignment I wouldn't drill the hole off-center if I went all the way through the tube. I drilled the back side and with a little deburring and fine-tuning with a chainsaw file the correct length AN3 bolt went right through. I did the other side and it's time to weld on the stops and the drive arms on the ends.
