Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer Mount Part 9
Once the supports were welded in place, the front stabilizer mount tube could be fit. This is the first time the stab halves were installed on the fuselage and it actually looks like an airplane! I measured everything on the front crosstube so the bushings would fall exactly in the middle of the support bracket.
Once marked, I cut and drilled the crosstube for the 3/8ths bushings and welded them in. That's where I stopped for the night. Tomorrow I hope the locate and drill the holes for the front support bolts.
