Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer Mount Part 10
Spent an hour in the shop today and finished the front stab mount. I ground the front mount tube bushings to length with the belt grinder. I then put it all together inverted and let gravity hold everything in place so I could accurately clamp the tube the the mounts. Once clamped, I drilled one side, put a bolt in it and then drilled the other. Now it's finally done! I can now set the incidence. I think I'll just use 7/8ths T14 tubes as a mock-up to set the incidence and make the bushings I need to get to the 3 degrees as specified by Bob Barrows. I am setting it at 3 instead of 4 because of the airfoil-shaped stab.
