Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer Mount Part 8
Long day today, but a good day. I was able to bend the front crosstube supports and fit them to the fuselage. The bummer was I had to make another blank as I screwed up bending one of the pieces. I must have sighted wrong and as a result the 5/8ths flat was only 1/2 inch wide...too skinny.
Once bent, it was time to fit the parts, which took a bit of doing. The neg 3 degrees had to match side to side without a common reference. That took a bit of time. I did flip the fuselage inverted for the final fit-up which helped tremendously. I set Sta B-C to a neg 3 degrees and leveled the brackets at zero inverted and side to side. It really worked slick.
