Well, what's more fun than taking an 8ft piece of 4130 tubing and putting in some random radius sections into the entire bend and have it lay flat at the end? Answer: make another that matches the first. That's basically what I did most of the afternoon and evening. Started out with straight tubing and ended up with a pair of training edges. The second actually came out a little better than the first, so I kept tweaking the first one here and there until it lined up and dropped into the jig blocks on top of the other. Now they are a matched pair. It may be anal, but I really want the surface area of the elevators to be the same. Tomorrow starts the layout of the spar and ribs.
