I was able to rivet in the brackets that hold the static ports in place. I first applied some contact cement to the fabric and the bracket, then placed it carefully on the stringer. I used AL pop rivets that I had left over from the stringer install. Because the fabric was already installed I couldn’t rivet the static ports to the brackets. Instead, I used proseal and glued them on. I suspect they aren’t coming off any time soon! Just to be on the safe side I milled two flats on the static port so I could use a wrench to hold the port still when I put in the fittings.
