Brief Description:  Started on the Wings

For the past several days I've been going over the wing construction plans. I ordered the quick build wings, meaning that most of their construction was completed at the factory before they were shipped to me. The instructions advise the builder to go step by step through the plans to check that all construction steps were completed and to also familiarize the builder with what was completed and what remains to be done.

When I received the wing and fuselage kits all of the hardware was combined in what seemed like hundreds of bags. I inventoried everything then but failed to separate the 2 sets. So, Pop and I spent about 4 hours re-doing the inventory and putting the wing hardware in a separate box.

Once that was finished I made the bushings for the aileron belcrank and made two of the aileron push rods. Started by measuring and cutting the 2 lengths of tube, priming the inside, and drilling and riveting the threaded rods in the end of each tube. The inventory wore me out but it felt good to be back out in the shop.
