Started today by match-drilling all of the skin-to-stiffener holes for both elevators. Removed the stiffeners and de-burred all of the skin holes and the stiffener holes. We removed the protective plastic on the outer skin surface in strips (in lines over the holes, picture 1). I dimpled the skin-to-stiffener holes on the left elevator (picture 2). Then I dimpled all of the stiffeners and the trim tab reinforcement plate and cover (picture 3). I also scuffed up the inner skin surfaces of the elevators and all of the stiffeners to prepare them for priming. Lord but there's a lot of stiffeners and holes associated with the elevators :)
