Brief Description: VS Initial Work (waiting for a HS part)
Can't do much more on the HS until the replacement splice angle arrives so I decided to start on the verticle stabilizer. Cleco'd the spar doubler to the rear spar and then attached the 6 hinge brackets to the spar. Match drilled all of the attach holes for the spar, doubler and hinges. I left the blue protective film on the spar to protect the aluminum from scratches until I get to a stage where it needs to be removed.
The VS spar is the large channel, doubler is piece with large holes and the hinge plates are white.
