Started by laying out the pieces of the rear spar assembly. Used Scotchbrite pads to break (take the sharp edges off) of the rear spar and the spar reinforcement bars. All of the pieces are cut or punched at the factory and need to be smoothed and de-burred.
Then I rounded the ends of the reinforcement bars per the plans. Cleco'd and final drilled these peices, drilled the elevator hinge brackets, and drilled and primed the rear spar hinge bearing.
