Placed ribs per drawings. Piloted hinge. Zero twist. Completed my corrosion protection regime. After dry, riveted entire assembly. This is a big flap.
Drilled the hinge to the aft spar. I am concerned that there is not enough space between where the flap ends and the aileron begins. The ailerons rod end bearing is awfully close to the flap. I will have to complete the aileraon before I have any confidence. Worst case senario is that I have to replace the wing side of the hinge; I specifically did not rivet this on as I just don't feel good about it.
