Brief Description:  Fuel system and battery box

I have been pondering my fuel plumbing. Everytime I think I have it figured out and order my materials I find that I've overlooked something and run around town to try and find this stuff or reorder. I am going with all flexible lines -Jegs. Even from the tank to the cockpit side of the firewall.

I had to fabricate a bracket for my gascolater. I just did not like the angle that it would sit in a normal flight attitude. I wonder if this might contribute to some of the flow (burp) issues so many people complain of.

Fabricated the battery box of my Odyssey 680. Of course I didn't have the battery initially and built the box as laid out by the plans. Then I saw where it said to build the box "around the battery" for fit. Of course I ran out and bought it and the thing no fit. Not to mention it really did not seem as though the battery could be removed from the box once it is mounted. Not good.
So, I took it apart and cut it down and remade a part or two and now I have a tight fitting box which has a removable front. Of course with the box in it's new "fits like a glove" figure, it is indeed possible to remove the battery from the top. Oh well, it looks nice. Not sure why I felt the need to paint it.
