I added the T1 tubing then dismantled the rudder for cleaning. With everything clean and ready for welding I reassembled the rudder in the jig and tack welded. With everything tacked I took it out of the jig for welding. It needed a little tweaking after welding. As with the elevators the "shark fin" needed tweaking.
Once the rudder was all welded and tweaked I welded the rudder horn in place. The last thing I did was add a light mount to the trailing edge.
I need more room in the shop to assemble the tail on the fuselage so I took the jig table out and rearranged the other tables.
