I prepped and drilled panel # 4 of the right wing. Then I clamped and drilled and clecoed it to the wing. I read my log on the left wing to refresh my memory but I still screwed up. I drilled the overlap on this panel when I should have drilled in on panel # 3. I decided to not drill into the rib yet but I'll overlap panel # 4 and # 3 and drill them at the same time. I'll clamp a straight edge on the rib to keep it straight and check center as I drill.
I'm using a different technique to lay out the panels on this wing. I still strap the panel on and mark the ribs but I'm only using these marks as a reference. For the centerline mark I'm taking the actual centerline measurement between ribs for the layout and transferring that measurement to the panel for drilling. So far that is working better and more accurate.
