I wanted to make the skin stiffeners now because I want to use the forms to provide backing to fit the next panel over the fuel tank bay. A recent Bear Tracks had a process that Glenn Patterson used for forming the skin stiffeners. It uses two forms that would work perfectly for fitting skinning panel over the fuel tank bay.
The jig worked very well using a propane torch to form the curve in the stiffener. The stiffener was first bent in the 36" brake.
