On the Bearhawk group a while back Shawn Burns recommended a simple tool for making joggles. I had forgotten about it until I saw it again on John Rheneys website. I used this method to make the joggles in the fuel tank bay stiffeners.
It's simply a piece of metal with a slot cut in it (I used some .063 aluminum). The flange is placed in the slot with the side to joggle up on the bottom, then place in a vice and pressed.
I cut a little more off the stiffeners because I noticed that Eric did not run it all the way to the main spar caps to allow for riveting the spar web. The stiffener laps over the main spar web flange about 1/2".
With all the stiffeners made I cut up the jig forms to use in the fuel tank bay for skinning.
