Brief Description: Square up left wing, skins back on right wing
Getting home off a red eye flight I wasn't real energetic but I wanted to get something done. Next task is to drill for the fuel tank cover panel nut plates. Oddly enough every skin sheet touches a portion of either the main or aux tank access panel. So I need to reinstall all the skins.
First thing I worked on is squaring up the left wing. Some time ago when I was squaring and leveling the left wing I found the rear spar was not set perfectly at the wing inboard side. Since the hole was already drilled to secure it's position I had to remove the bolt to move it so it's only been held in place with a clamp since then. I wanted to make it more secure for when it come time to rivet skins. I elongated the hole in the jig to accommodate the hole in the rear spar position then I made a plate to lock it into place on the jig.
I made some leveling tabs for the inboard of the left wing mounting bolts. I set the outboard of the wing using the plumb bob that will remain in position until I'm done riveting. Next I started clecoing the skins back on the wings.
