The last couple days had a few distractions but I did manage to get a little building done off and on.
I reassembled the parts that I had painted. I marked, drilled and clecoed the false spar 1/8" x 3/4" by 5" long doubles into place - including the platenuts. These are the first platenuts I've set and Eric's methods outlined in his manual works very well.
Yesterday I realized I didn't have the dimple dies and flush rivets I needed so I placed and order for an overnight delivery. I usually plan better and for some reason I had it in my mind that I had already ordered these. I was planning to spend more time working on the Bearhawk than it worked out, which was the reason for the overnight delivery - but as it turned out I could have waited and saved a couple bucks.
I started working on the pulley cable retainers while waiting for the delivery. The delivery did come but about all I did was play around with a little practice then rivet one of the retainers together.
