I started drilling and clecoing the nose ribs. It dawned on me that I still needed to attach the rib attach angle for the nose rib in front of the flap support frame. I clamped the angle in place and drilled the 3/16" holes (and one 1/4" hole) - bolted on then drilled out the holes through the vertical stiffener. I used a recessed rivet heads toward the side on the root support frame.
As I got started I realized I needed to simplify my process for running my string for the nose rib alignment. Actually I just needed to make a simpler means to secure it each time I added one more rib. All I did was route it horizontally out from the outboard end to a hook than down to the jig brace where I clamped it secure. Each time I pulled the string tight and clamped it. This was quick and easy.
I added each nose rib one by one and used the simulated skin procedure and alignment sting to locate and clamp into position. Before drilling the holes I used a yard stick straight edge to check alignment with the prior nose ribs in position. I probably spent more time than needed to get each one lined up but they came out nice and straight. I can see right down the jig pin holes. Right wing nose ribs are clecoed in place.
