Brief Description:  Aileron & flap support frame ends

I marked and drilled the corners then cut the opening in the smaller end pieces. I used a dremel tool to cut the opening. Then I used a grinder to clean up the edges. The last thing I did was drill a 1/4" guide hole for the 3/4" tube. I located it by using a template. Then I used a 3/4" hole saw with a mandrel bit for the final cut.

I located and drilled the holes in the support frame jig per the directions in the 1996 BearTracks newsletter. I then set up one frame in the jig. I took one look at the weld requirements and decided to do some practice welds. I used one of the discarded ends and a scrap piece of tube. I'm glad I did the practice because I wasn't happy with my first one so I did another.
