I drilled the capstrip rivet locations on the right spar. I drilled the hole locations on the vertical stiffeners on the drill press for the right spar. I then laid out the left spar and drilled and clecoed the capstrip at the vertical stiffener location.
On the web layout I'm using a center line down the middle that is marked on the table and on the spar web (like I did on the rear spar). I'm also marking a line for the capstrips. This simplifies laying out the capstrips and speeds things up a bit.
I drilled the capstrip rivet locations on the left spar. I located and drilled the vertical stiffeners to the right side. I made a little wooded square to use for positioning. I match drilled the end plates to the spar caps. I laid out the rivet locations on the splice plates and match drilled. I also match drilled the spacer bar for the wing attach fittings. Everything is drilled and clecoed for each spar except for the left side vertical stiffeners.
After attaching the spacer bar I noticed that there is a rivet that will interfere on the capstrip. I'll have to set this as a flush rivet. Now I wish I would have located the spacer bar before I drilled all the capstrip holes and made an adjustment.
