Brief Description: Router and flanging forms, cut aluminum blanks
For the aileron nose, pocket and flap nose ribs I used a clear plastic sheet to transfer the pattern off the plans. I also added the flange to the pattern. I then used the same sticky spray that I used for the mylar drawing to paste it to the 3/4 inch MDF for the form. After tracing the outline and drilling a small hole for the hole locations I removed the pattern and trimmed the flange off the pattern. After trimming I put the pattern back on the form and marked the flanges. These will be cut off the jig after all the router cuts are done then used as the flanging form.
I cut out the aluminum blanks for all the remaining ribs except the full 2 full sized ones.
