Brief Description:  Center rib router jig, aluminum blanks, router cut

For the center rib routing blocks I was going to make metal strip spacing bars like I did for the nose ribs but I didn't have enough aluminum bar. So rather than take the time to run out and get some I decided to cut full sized forms in the MDF, cut the full size ribs first, then trim 1/8 inch off the front spar side for the next size, cut those, then trim another 1/8 inch off for the rest of the ribs. In hind sight I would recommend this to anyone for the nose ribs too. It's quicker and easier than making spacer strips (at least for me). Maybe the only reason to add the strips is in case you need to redo a rib later. You could always add them later if you need to.

Andrea finished up sanding the lightening holes. I drilled jig pin holes in center ribs and rough cut to size.

I router cut all center ribs. I'm planning to router cut the oval hole in the .025 ribs before I flange. Andrea helped me "unload and load" the router forms. She also marked numbers on each rib for it's proper location.

UPDATE: Later when I was locating the rib attach angles to the spars I realized I didn't size the ribs at the wing inboard end correctly because I didn't account for the rear spar end plates. I'll have to trim these ribs.
