With top of the tubes cut and fit to the bushing attach point it’s time to fit the tube at the axle. The manual describes fitting the tube as grind a little, fit, grind a little, fit, grind a little… about a 100 times! I accidently found a way to reduce the trips to the grinder to fit the straight tube to the axle. I pulled the axle out to suspend the tube in the proper position. I realized that with it suspended in position I could use the axle as a guide to mark the cut on the tube. After only 4 trips to the grinder I had a good fit on my first tube.
