Well no easy solution on the rear tube fit. I think I did make 100 trips to the grinder! What seemed to work best is to mark the first tube position on the axel then remove that tube and work the second tube referencing that position marked on the axle. Then work the vertical fit after both tubes conform to the axle.
With the left gear tubes cut and fit I welded the assembly together. I still need to add the .62 reinforcement pieces. One down one to go…
