I went to Corvair College 31 and made some progress on my engine. My crankshaft was too tight in the case but Dan and Rachel Weseman were at the College and quickly swapped it out with another they had on hand. The camshaft I purchased from Clarks Corvair turned out to be bent but once again I was able to procure a new one at the college from William Wynne. After getting the new parts, I assmbled the short block and then installed the 5th bearing. I also picked up my rods, pistons and cylinders for my 3 liter conversion.
