Prep of the rear wing tip rib. Alumiprep the ribs for both left and right ribs, then alodined, dried them and preped them for AKZO primer. While they were drying and the primer was sitting. I primered the interior of the wing tips with high temp paint to reduce the amount of light radiating through the fibergalss tip when the landing lights are on. Used white then black to help. should work ok. Primed the wing tip ribs with AKZO. Only applied it to the back side and rib flanges. Also preped and primed the outside wing rib on both wings. Once finished I temp mounted the tips to the wings. Still much to do, mount the landing lights and adjust the plate so the light is paralel to the path of the aircraft. mount the landing light lens's, position lights and strobe. I may wait on the mounting of the lights until later. I need to install the electrical wireing and pito static system plumbing in preperations of closing the wings.
Started to think about begining on the fuselage. Pulled parts down out of the attic. Found all the firewall pieces and clecoed them together. will drill tomorrow.
