Brief Description: Riveting the ribs to the foreward spar.
I won't go into details again, but just say I'm getting better at rivet removal finally - and putting them in too of course! Lesson today - when riveting, pay close attention to both sidies of the rivet while using the rivet gun. Don't just focus on the shop end, watch both sides! I got the tricky ribs mounted. These ar the infamous HS-405 and HS-407 ribs that need that notch and new holes drilled that everyone has lots of questions about. After those and other spar rivets were done, I took it to the paint booth and re-touched the scraped off primer from spots I scraped off with the bucking bar.
Rib installed on both sides of spar.
A little uneaven riveting, but well within the specs.
Completed spar and HS skeleton after primer touch up.
