Brief Description: Drilling the pivot point in the elvator horns
This is another step thatI have seen a lot of ideas on the itnernet about. There is nothing hard at all about this, but you'll need some kind of bushing in the hole to keep evertything perfectly lined up. I looked at the hardware store, my junk box, and thought of some ideas that might work as a bushing. In the end, I just put in an order with McMaster Carr and bought a tiny $14 tool that just took a couple minutes to use.
First, clamp the elevat joor flat to prevent movement.
The bushing arrived. It required some work on the grinder so it would fit through the beaing.
Bushing as a giude gave it a super easy way to drill a nicely alined hole..
