Brief Description: Preparing the trim tab servo mounting.
While primer was drying on the ribs, I started the tim tab cover plate. Since we opted for the nicer electric trim on our plane, the servo has to mount on the inside of the cover plate. Just make sure you read the diagram a few times and make extra sure you have the measurements on the correct side of the plate. I think it's easy to put the markings on the wrong side (at least I did). I caught my error after seeing the spacing looked kind of odd with the slot in the plate and realized I was mesuring the wrong side. Oops! Read three times, measure once and think again before drilling.
Study parts carefully before commiting to the drill.

Done! Drilled, deburred, dimpled and ready for priming.
