Today realized that my countersinking the wrong part (the E-705 rib flange) instead of the elveator spar, finally came back to bite me. The right elevator worke fine with this, but I must have made the countersinks just a bit too shallow when I tried to assemble it since the control horn holes wouldn't line up at all. After chewing up the holes, trying a larger rivet and generally making a frustrating mess, I went to Van's site and ordered a new spar and rib. Only a $25 error this time.
