Counterweight rib was riveted onto the spar. Which way to put the heads? The common question. It should be factory head on top of the thinner piece, but then when pieces are about the same thickness, I guess anything goes. Probably not super critical, but I looked at other builder sites and see everything. I riveted them in with shop head inside the rib side.
Next I put the skin back around the rib. It was still a tight fit as before, but once clekos are in, it all works fine as usual. As seen in the photo, I did prime the part of the skin that would be hidden behind the rudder skin.
