Brief Description: Fabricating the R-918 fairing flanges.
When I see something that need to be "fabricated" I get a little excited since I can totally make a part for the plane! This time it was the R-918 strips that will later hold the fiberglass fairing on the bottom of the rudder. Measuring, marking, cutting with the snippers and a few minutes on the grinder - done. I clamped them in place on the bottom of the rib and drilled the #30 holes.
