The R-710 brace has a bunch of extra metal that needs to be trimmed off to fit on the bottom of the rudder. It's an easy matter to simply connect the circles with a straight edge and cutting away with the snippers. Van's really makes this cutting thing easy! A few minutes on the grinder to round the edges and smooth any rough parts and it fit very nicely between the rib and rudder horn. Drilled in the #30 holes and it's done.
