Brief Description: Countersink, dimpling, and primer prep
I used a piece of wood match drilled for the tim tab spar to give it some support for the countersink bit. I clekoed it on the board and then used the countersink cage bit to drill all the countersink holes on the top half of the spar. This piece will later fit with the trim tab hinge between it and the skin of the tab itself. Then made sure all the holes were deburred, and then dimpled them. After that was done, Scotch-brite pad was used to rough it up so it's ready for the coat of primer.
I made a drilling jig from wood scrap
All parts done and ready for the paint booth for priming.
