Brief Description: Lower rudder hinge rivets to the main vetical spar
The hinges on the lower part of the spar need to be countersunk on the forward facing part of the spar need to be countersunk. The countersunk spar and dimples have been done previously. Riveting them in didn't work too well with the squeezer for some reason, so I used the normal rivet gun with the red rubber backrivet fitting and the bucking bar. Some tweaked shop heads on the hinge side, but otherwise met the standard fine. I noticed that I had some black markings on the foreward side of the spar from the riveter, but a little alcohol cleaning and it was good as new. Also nice proof that despite pounding and some cleaning, the primer did stay on ok without smearing off.
