Brief Description: Elevator hinges riveted to spar.
I attached the hinges to the spar today. Went fairly well using the squeezer. I just found that if you do it at an awkward angle, you're shop heads will end up awkward. I installed the bearing plate, but still need to find a torque wrench to complete it properly, so I wrote a note on the spar and manual, and will come back to that later.
I tried removing a rivet to clean it up, but then made more of a mess. I then realized that a slightly "smiling" rivet wasn't a show stopper as well as some uneaven (to a point) shope ends.
Reminder for when we get a torque wrench.
Installed hinges!
oops. Need a little re-priming and smoothing there.
