Brief Description: Drilled lower cowl to Skybolt strips
Finished trimming the lower cowl to fit, then drilled the bottom of the fuselage Skybolt strips, and worked up to the cowl split.
Located and drilled the horizontal hinges to the top cowling. Put several lights inside the engine compartment, installed the top cowl to show the pre drilled hinge holes through the bottom cowl. Drilled several of the holes from outside in the front and back of the cowl, then removed the lower cowl and drilled the rest of the holes from the hinge side out.
The cowl is now set in its permanent position...hope it stays there through the bonding and riveting of the hinges and Skybolt fasteners...
