Pulled the cowl off the plane and deburred the hinges, Skybolt strips and cowl.
I'm actually happy with the cowl/ spinner backplate spacing. It is fairly uniform all the way around. That doesn't seem to be the norm with most cowls "out of the box" . It sure wasn't on my RV-4. I had to do a lot of cutting and filling to make it look halfway decent...
