This evening I made a pattern for an insert in the fiberglass tips. I found that one tip is narrower than the other so I used the tip that fit the best and cutout 2 quarter inch plywood reinforcement inserts to be epoxied inside the tips to provide better strenght when attaching the tips to the stab. This idea was suggested by Jeff Small.
