Brief Description: Rivetted right elevator trailing edge
Backrivetted the right elevator trailing edge. The upper side of the trailing edge was pretty straight, the lower side had some bumps. In addition, the bottom side curled up a little bit. Test-fitted the elevators to the HS. Checked for max. travel and distance from HS. Could achieve the maximum deflection angle that Van's specified in all cases. Have to adjust the rod end bearing a bit.
Next: Adjusting the rod end bearing, continue fabricating the tip attachments.
