Fitted the VS and rudder tips. The initial fit was not very good, had to trim quite some paint to have it all flush. Fitted the VS tip first, aligned the tip so that the slope of the VS leading edge was flush. After drilling and installing nutplates (4 out of 8) attached the rudder to the VS and fitted the rudder tip. I need some one-lug nutplates for the most fwd and aft position. Turned out that the top slope is not continuous from the VS tip to the rudder tip. Will probably add some fibre cloth on the rudder tip to account for that.
